Batman RIP splash page

Well, it's up on Newsarama, so I figured it's safe to post this here. It's a splash page that opens the RIP story. I can't mention what's going on here or what you're even looking at. But it was fun to draw. I was very excited to have Batman's little partner there too. I've always wanted to do a Batman and Robin piece and I finally got my chance.
Alex Ross handles the painted covers during the run and I'll be doing the variant covers. I'll post color images of those covers as I get them.

A Batman Study

Did this a few weeks ago specifically so that I could paint over it. I did and I fucked it up.
Maybe I can fix it and I'll post it here. That's what happens sometimes when you try new things.
I always learn the best the hard way. Call me hard-headed.
Anyway - before I screwed this piece of art up, it once looked like this.
Just a quick rendering of Batman off balance, or staggering, what have you. Nothing to write home about, mind you, but what the hell, I can't show you guys the good stuff here.
